English learning Strategy/ listening skill/ reading method

 Large numbers of people are learning the English language world wide, this language is used as an official language in many developed countries and also as a core communication language. 

The English language is similar to other languages, but its pronunciation, structure of the sentences will vary. Here the question is how to learn this language quickly. This question is actually frequently asked by everyone English learners. European origin people can quickly learn this language than Asian origin. Every learner must understand this fact. 

Even if it is weird to other native speakers, if you use some learning tactics and consistently work on them, it is possible to learn within a short period. 

Listening is a key factor

How did we learn our native language - through listening, the same strategy should apply while learning an  English language. Listening is spoken mastery, it is very essential to learn every language. So start from listening, if you are at the beginning stage. Listen the kids story that could be more fun as well as you can know simple words, listening is not one time process, listen the same audio over time, then only your subconscious mind will grab words and sentence structures,  

Repetition is a key to become fluent, choose your compelling topics that help to stay on course.  

After you listen to the same audio over and over again, try to imitate those sentences and do rehearsal in your mind which makes a deep connection in your subconscious mind. Use a different type of topic, after reinforce language skill, take a longer audio, whether it may be your interest subject or Audio book. Thus, close your eyes, concentrate on narratives, stop in the middle of the part, while making your own interpretation. By  applying this principle a  few months back, your language connection becomes stronger. 

Apply Feynman Techniques while reading

The traditional way of teaching method insist Reading more unless you can not become fluent in English language, this is absolutely wrong, because, without understanding of the subject never use them perfectly, which is so called comprehensible input, if you don’t understand what you are  learning, your mind will refuse that, deep understanding is very important factor, that means your language should be emotionally connected with your Language. 

When you begin to read, go deeper into every word and its structure, further using “w” questions to get deep understanding. For example you read the word “Apply” immediately asking the questions: what is the meaning of Apply? Look up your dictionary, make a few sentences of “apply” you will never forget that word, likewise take a specific sentence then try to construct those sentences in various style and identify the real meaning of those sentences. 

I have used this strategy in my initial stage, where you should act like a teacher, How teachers explained the topic to students, the way of you should approach this strategy, it is literally an easy way to improve language skills and you can express your thoughts without a translation process. 

Think in English 

We tend to talk to someone our native language  will often interrupt us, which is why all our emotional and thinking processes are connected with our native language. Translation will delay language improvement. The solution is to start to think in English. 

Start from known objective and routine actions, you can easily handle this task. If you see a person or objective make a description about yourself, it might be tedious, and boring initially, even  doing this over time it will become your habit. What you read and listen, instantly start to describe your own idea, thus you can identify where you struggle and make mistakes, after you address your errors then try to recorrect them.  Allocate enough time to think in English for the rest of the day.
